14th Annual General Meeting Highlights

Members of the Maasai Mara SACCO Society have been assured of financial stability and return on investment for their funds.

This was amplified through blissful moments experienced during the MM SACCO's 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) that was held on Thursday 23rd April, 2026.

This year's AGM was well attended both face-to-face and virtually. It was evident that members were eager to know more about their SACCO's progress status, as they arrived at the venue as well as logging in virtually minutes before the stipulated commencement time.

Members' enthusiasm was also demonstrated by high meeting concentration and attendance retention rate beyond 5:00 pm, the time the meeting was timed to end.

Our History

From Small Steps to Collective Strength

Maasai Mara SACCO Ltd was first registered as Maasai Mara University SACCO in 2011, with the objective of organising and promoting the welfare and economic interests of its members in line with co-operative values and principles.

Domiciled within the Maasai Mara University premises, the SACCO was formed to provide member-driven financial services within its common bond — after members found that outside providers could not offer services well customised to their needs.

From those humble beginnings, the SACCO has grown to a membership of over 600 as at December 2023, with an asset base of Ksh 170 Million — a major achievement in just over a decade, driven by customised member products, visionary leadership and sound management.
